Coin-Op : Arcade : Blasto (1978, Gremlin)

General Information

Simple but fun game where the player controls a tank that must shoot all the mines in a minefield without blowing itself up or running out of time. What made the game rather challenging was the fact that mines would go off in chain-reactions, which required the player to use some foresight to avoid being caught in the blast. This game is also well known for its release as a cartridge for the Texas Instrument home computer system the "TI 99/4a", which although having better graphics and music the gameplay remained essentially the same.
